The Mariner’s Museum and Park is partnering with the American Red Cross once again, serving as a host site for a critical blood drive. The need is urgent more than ever as the blood supply is very low, and the Red Cross is also providing aid to the families affected by the current Ukraine crisis.
Donors of ALL blood types are always needed, and the Red Cross is also accepting the following blood types: A+, B+, A-, B-, O- and O+ for “Power Reds” appointments.*In addition, the Red Cross will resume testing all donations for COVID-19 antibodies for a limited time to identify potential units that can be manufactured into convalescent plasma.
